The EWS app is designed for immediate impact. It delivers crucial disaster alerts via push notifications, WhatsApp, email, and SMS, ensuring timely warnings. Beyond alerts, it's a comprehensive resource, offering evacuation routes, emergency contacts, local disaster history, incident reporting tools, and an AI-powered chatbot for preparedness awareness. Recent training sessions in Blantyre, Mzuzu and Lilongwe where communities embraced the app, underscore its importance. As Ezekiel Nyirenda, Chairperson for Mchengautuba East Ward, noted, "This is a big step forward in helping our communities act early and stay informed." We're dedicated to equipping communities with the technology they need to respond effectively to disasters, and the EWS app is a testament to that mission.
